Module content | Clothing merchandise managerial aspects: fashion buying and planning function, controlling inventories, factors influencing stock movement, redistribution of stock; merchandising processes, sourcing and relationship with suppliers; management roles and responsibilities. Buying strategies, forecasting and records, preparing a buying plan, developing an assortment plan. Use of relevant soft wear in the buying and planning function. Global perspective of the clothing industry. |
